The last few years it has closed in Mid to late March, I believe, however I think it also opened much earlier in past years. Feb 1 seems late to me. Anyway, with Boston closing in 8 hours, I think all bets are off as to when Chicago will close. The game seems to have changed. I'd be ready on Feb 1, just to be certain.
It opened Feb 1 last year and closed in record time - I think just a little over 50 days. My guess would be that it closes within a month this year.
It closed last year when all the entries were filled. I imagine that it will do the same this year. Once the slots are all filled up, then there will be no more entries.
On a side note, do you really call a marathon a "thon"? What a fag.
I agree: the game has changed. I would not be surprised if Chicago closed out within hours.

You are (a) not funny, (b) not in on the joke, and(c) homophobic. Now, please return to your trigonometry class.

I'm not going to cover up what we are anymore.
Let me post under my handle, quit hiding.
Didn't we agree to come out?
Another good one, stool-pusher! That's funny.

Why do you make the things you like so much sound so derogatory when you post here?
