I don't know much about eligibility for d II, so I wanted to figure out if I had any eligibility left. I went to school at a d1 school and graduated last may. I ran 1 year of track, and 1 year of cross and used my redshirt years, but ended up quitting cuz i hated my coach. I finished up school there (did 5 years) but I am planning to attend grad school at a dII school with a decent program. Is there any chance I could suit up and run? what is the rule with d 2 schools and how long we have to finish eligibility?

you have 10 full time semesters to use up all of your eligibility in DII. it sounds like by being at your previous school for 5 years that you don't have eligibility...unless you were below full time status for any of those 5 years.
