it's because Bayer is straight $$$$$, always, who knows how fast outdoors, maybe a qualifier for NCAAs 1500m, but he can turn out a quick 5k as well, everyone better watch out for him the next couple years, he is going nowhere but up
A solo 4:01 on that track is probably worth 3:57 at Washington. Purdue's track has some of the tightest turns in the country.
