I'm 25 and feel kind of empty inside. Life after college really sucks. WHat do people do for fulfillment and what is there to look forward in life. Does it get any better with time, or does is get worse and worse.

Do something unselfish everyday. Live for something beyond you. Give back.
Volunteer your time. Being with kids is great (maybe an afterschool program or coaching position), and can remind you of a time when life was more innocent. Volunteering also a GREAT way to meet people, and it's my personal experience that there are a lot of girls especially who volunteer. (I'm a girl myself so I don't really care about that, but if you're a guy that may be some incentive).
Set a new athletic goal. If not running related, maybe pick up a new sport, or come back to a sport you used to do in high school. It's amazing how trying to learn (or re-learn) a sport can make your life so much more interesting.
Read. Hit up your library and grab some fiction (or non-fiction..whatever floats your boat).
Socialize! Call somebody up that you haven't talked to in awhile, grab a coffee or go for a run together. Just reconnect. As a new graduate, I'm finding that my social life is definitely not what it was while in college, and I really have to make more of an effort to see people because meeting with friends just isn't as convenient anymore.
Do something you've always thought about, but have never gotten around to actually doing it. Go skydiving, bungee jumping, a biking tour around Europe, climb the Great Wall. Having something like that to focus on, plan for, and fantasize about (even if you know you can't go for it for another 6 or 12 months) can really take your mind off the present.
Please, don't just wallow in self-pity and sadness. Personally, I'm also fairly prone to depression and I really have to make a conscious effort to put myself out there and do something different. It's too easy to simply watch TV and veg out all day, but that will inevitably make your depression worse.
I feel your pain my man. I think the 2 people before me offer decent suggestions but I am a school teacher part time, so I feel that my whole life is about helping people grow and about volunteering. Also, I coordinate about 400 volunteers for another job and still feel like you do.I think moving to or having 1-2 of your best college friends move to your town would help.OrFind a girl who you want to marry.I think only the 1st will work for me.

Hey man, how ya doin?
I see that you are sad, and that in turn makes me sad. So I hope that you stop being sad, so I don't have to be sad either.
With love,

all humans are selfish. it's impossible not to be unselfish. when people do "volunteer work" and donate their time, etc, they are being selfish because they're only doing it because it makes them feel better about themselves.
If it is impossible "not to be unselfish", then all that anyone can be is unselfish. You are ridiculous.
Me too

I think this is BS. You need to do something for you. This may mean reconnecting w/ people in your area to enhance your social lif or finding yourself an intimate partner. Nobody likes being alone. Its time to connect.

Break out of your shell and start developing relationships with others, particularly people from whom you have nothing to gain (either directly or vicariously). Honestly, church is a great place to start helping others with real problems who will help you put your stuff into perspective.
He's depressed, stay away from kids.
Don't listen to the New UncleB tribute poster, aka the New UncIe B
What do you do with your spare time? What do you enjoy?
Also start dating women. I can tell from your post that you are probably single and sit at home alone and feel sorry for yourself.

Run 100+ miles a week... you're either running, working or sleeping. No time for feeling depressed :/
Cheer up man! We are all in the same situation believe it or not.
Besides it's a temporary thing who knows what tomorrow holds? Peace.

Umm, we're not all in that situation.
