I am a high school runner. I run XC, indoor and outdoor track (mostly 3000, 1500, 1000, and 800). I wonder if anyone can give me advice about what to eat for breakfast on days we have meets? Generally, I have to leave home by 6:30 a.m. to travel to the meet, but might not run my first race until 10:30 or 11, and then my next race at 1-ish, and a relay at 4:00 or 5:00. I'd appreciate any advice about foods good for breakfast, but also good to take to the meets with me...quick fuel, but things that don't sit heavy in my stomach and mahe me sluggish.
(If it matters, I am a 15 yr old girl with PRs of 19:07, 10:30, 4:51, 3:01, and 2:19)
