For a relationship... is a 13 year difference too much?

Depends? 20-33? 35-48? ect ect
Yes... I don't understand your question. I'm not 20 yet though.
It depends on the specific couple. Is the younger one in the couple an old soul? Is the older one a young spirit?
There is a 9 year difference in our couple and we are the happiest I know among our friends. We have a great marriage and love each other.
20 and 7 is going to be an issue in some jurisdictions. I do know a 54/32 m/f relationship that seems to be going well.

What is ect?
To OP: if my understanding is correct and you just said you're not yet 20 (let's assume 19), that means your potential partner is either 6 or 32 years old. Either way, that's a BIG maturity difference, even if the younger party is relatively mature and the older one relatively immature for their respective ages.
When in doubt, follow the rule of 7: half the older person's age + 7 years.

The rule of 7 really depends on the age though. For example, when he is 60, I will be 47. Following the rule of 7, I could be 37 years old, and the relationship would still be acceptable.
Alright let's take a different route. Is it acceptable to engage in sexual activity if there is a 13 year age difference? Of course, it would be legal...but is that socially acceptable? Or would people frown upon it?
