Increased mileage, one result was pain in one leg on outside of knee. Assumed it was ITBS and continued to run for 6 days on it. Someone suggested it might be hamstring instead of IT, after looking online I think it is safe to self-diagnose the pain as coming from the bicep piriformis. Took two weeks off. Started running and could run 45 minutes without pain. Ran for 90 minutes one day and pain resurged. Anyone have similar condition in the past? Can't find any specific exercises or stretches. It is a tough muscle to massage and stretch. Thanks in advance
