Currently one of the best rivalries in sports is going down this weekend. If you like tough defensive football with a battle for field position this is your match up.
Who you got?
I know steelerfan4life will be pumped.

Wacko for Flacco here. Ravens stun the Steelers by 13 points.
Not a fan of either team but I think the Ravens take it this time.
I'll be surprised if the game is decided by more than 7 points. I think the Ravens will win though. Their D will shred the suspect O-line of the Steelers as Roethlisberger does his usual routine of running around like an idiot trying to extend the play instead of just making a quick read and throwing the ball.
The Ravens will kick the ass of thos Steeler mofos!
This'll save you 12+ hours this weekend: Winners will be Ravens, Patriots, Falcons and Seahawks.
Thats a tough one to pick. While I like the history of the Baltimore Browns, I followed Big Ben when he was in high school seeing if he could throw more touchdowns than Charlie Frye(who is getting his high school # retired this weekend).
While Baltimore stole Cleveland's football team, Pittsburgh stole all of their banks a couple years ago so I will have to go with the Stillers on this one.
How many super bowls has Roethlisberger won? How many has Joe Flacco won?

Big Ben is going to rape the Ravens, and get away with it. Just like always.

Big Ben has won 2. Joe Flacco has won 0.
Ravens!! I don't need the Steetlers to pull even further away from my Niners in the total SB wins race.

As always-past performance is not a predictor of future performance. However-it should be noted that outside of 2006-the Ravens haven't been able to beat Roethlisberger. Their 3 wins have come against Charlie Batch and Dennis Dixon. That could change this weekend-but I don't think it will.
The biggest factor coming into this game is venue and health. The Steelers have only played one game in the last 23 days. This will be the Ravens second road game in the playoffs. They are coming off 6 days rest.
The crowd will be also be a positive factor for the Steelers. If either team jumps to a big lead-or there are defensive touchdowns-the game could either way.
MAN U KNOW WHAT IT IS
ERRTHING I DO, YEAH I DO IT BIG
BLACK AND YELLOW BLACK AND YELLOW BLACK AND YELLOW
seriously though, go RAVENS!
Comparing super bowl titles was just a way to rebut the guy who basically called Ben a bad quarterback.

My heart as always will say my hometown team - Steelers.
However, I have to admit, even I do not feel very confident about this one. The ravens are playing well late, and it seems too many teams know to pass short and often against us, and they will move the ball often.
I look for this to happen:
Ravens get the ball first. Move the ball. Score early, by a fg.
Steelers get a short run back and the Ravens are fired up. Steelers make it to mid field and stall. Ravens stall, and the half ends at 6-0 Ravens.
Steelers come out throwing and no huddle (which is where they are best), and make some noise. Score, and make it 7-6.
End of the 3rd, 10-9 Steelers.
4th quarter will determine who wins.
I'm hoping it's us.
It'll come down to the kickers.
steelers 16 Ravens 12.
Flacco is not as good as Ben, but Ben is not a great quarterback. One of those super bowls he had no business winning. A lot of his success is owed to the defense and the rest of the team.

You mean it takes an entire team to win a Super Bowl?
How banged up is the Steelers O line?
this thread is nuts. of course the steelers are going to win- by at least 1 td. and i hate the steelers....i mean i really hate them.
'Stillers' offense finally puts it together. 31-20
