Track/XC Coach Arrested for Solicitation

Unfortunately, I agree. My high school coach was one of them. School administrators knew about this man's inappropriate behavior, but because the team was very successful, chose to look the other way. He had coached in another part of the state years ago, been fired for this type of behavior at that school, but was later hired by my high school.

I stuck it out until my senior year, but quit because of his abuse. I don't know how many young women are faced with abusive coaches, but I was extremely uncomfortable with his behavior. I wanted to compete, but eventually it became unbearable. No one should have to put up with this kind of abuse when participating in a sport.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience. It honestly disheartens me. Please share with us what specifically was inappropriate in your situation?

lol my middle school coach got arrested for statutory raping a 12 year old boy. we sorta saw it coming, like ppl joked he was gay(the coach), but we all really liked him and jus tjoekd he was gay. he was also an amazing teacher. When he was out on bail he shot himself and died.

My coaches in high school are all really ncie people though.

Did he get beaten or something when taken into custody?

I find the job that these detectives do to be a bit creepy as well. How do you do that day in and day out and not be a bit of a perv yourself?
