past few days, i have had a dull ache on the outside bottom of my foot. i first noticed it about 4 days ago. it feels like a muscle/tendon and not a bone. it runs parallel to where plantar fascitis would be like from the heel almost up to the ball of the foot. did some research and think it may be peroneal tendonitis but am not sure. there is no pain on the ankle bone though, which was listed as something common with peroneal tendonitis. i've been icing/anti-inflammatory and it has seemed to come and go but can't shake it totally. hurt on and off on my long run sunday, but not at all on some 400 hill repeats yesterday which seems strange to me. it hurt walking around after the LR, but that has decreased since. any thoughts on what it is and how to treat it? just keep doing what i'm doing or is it more serious? thanks for your help.
