New name for the event, but expect a sell out.
you have to suck some D to be able to compete there
Interesting - if you enter the URL:
http://www.newbalanceindoorgrandprix.com/
Right now, this redirects to the same Boston Indoor Games facebook page - but the facebook page is still called "Boston Indoor Games" and Boston Indoor Games's favourite Pages include New Balance, but not Reebok. I guess the official name/sponsorship change hasn't been announced yet?
new title sponsor will be announced shortly. expect several of said title sponsor's athletes to be competing. should make the meet even better, if that is even possible. funny that even I shortchange the meet in my mind sometimes but: name one meet in america where they have had the likes of Geb, Buster, Willis, Rupp, Lagat, LoLo, Defar, Shalane, Dibaba, etc, along w/ performances like 7:30, 13:teens, etc. amazing when i actually stop to think about it.
simply the best indoor meet in the country....and can be argued that its performances make it the best indoor meet in the world. Some spectacular marks there. Yes, seems sponsorship took sometime to get in line, but don't miss it. Its a GREAT event.
Now announced as New Balance Indoor Grand Prix:

Facebook page has been updated too.
Isn't Mark Wetmore the meet director? And aren't his athletes all adidas-sponsored? But adidas didn't want to sponsor the meet anymore. What gives?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

He manages Wheating who is sponsored by Nike
It was previously reebok not adidas.
Reebook used to sponsor the Reebok Grand Prix in NYC, but that one is now adidas.
Do Reebok sponsor any high level meetings anymore?
