How well did you know them? Did you approach them about it? Did you take it personally?

you
Lard-butted Chris Burney of Bowling for Soup fame dumped me and after all the money I've paid those guys...
Austin RD John Conley and most recent, I think Malmo did, too.
Why, oh why?
I limit my friends to 100. It's like Survivor. Nobody is safe. Not even family.
That's why FB is absurd. There are no natural boundaries on FB so you have to make your own. IRL you don't have to make that call deciding who's your friend or not and put it down on paper.

Hmm..John dumped you? Maybe you brought your wife in as an "elite" one too many times, only to have her run like sh!t.
Maybe you were overheard running your mouth again one too many times in the host hotel lobby!
Do you have Roger Soler as your friend...or is he still not "good enough" for you!
;-)
How'd you know they dropped you?
Do you know the exact count & then figured it out when your number dropped? or go to click on their profile & not get in?
I wonder because I drop "friends" all the time & figure they won't find out. I've even had people I've drop request to be friends a few months later & I accept & then drop them again.
Moe, then why do you speak so highly of JC if he dropped you?
My girlfriend's ex- dropped me. He sent me a very nice note in advance.
You know they dropped you when you go to your friend suggestions, and this person is on there. You say 'But, wait I already be-friended him/her.' That's how you know.
I suppose if you were to try to write on the person's wall and were denied access that would be another way to know.
Of course, if the only way you know you have been defriended is when you get a friend suggestion for this person, whose page you haven't visited in years, I don't see any need to take that personally.
I have de-friended a few people just out of lost interest. Nothing personal. Usually, it's someone I was not to close to/just more of an "acquaintance" to begin with.
