Alright, in the summer, I started using VFFs in hope of helping a knee problem of mine, and I found several things:
1. Midfoot striking is a ton better than heel striking, and actually helped my knees.
2. Fivefingers are useless for 8+miles on concrete.
3.Having your toes separated is a terrible idea, especially in the cold.
With that said, I am looking for a racing flat to train in now. I would prefer it to still be very thin and supportless, just a little more substantial. Suggestions, anybody?
