I'm about the same as you. There's only so much you can do on this site. I do spend even more time on the rest of the internet, though.
10min per day. You spend one hour per day?! You are some kind of loser.
I would expect to be in the hunt for most time spent per week you would have to be logging well over 40 hours a week.
I often have a window open all day while doing other computerbased things. How many times and for how long I am actually viewing varies but between tracktalk.net,T&FN and Letsrun I would not be shocked to find I spend 25+ hours reading about or being active on various Athletics boards per week.
But I'm retired and health issues keep me close to home most of the day so I may not be typical.
About 2 hours per day. More like 6 hours per day on the weekends. Summer and winter, if no job = ~5 hours a day. But then again if I'm doing something I might not get on all day.
Hard to say. It's one of my primary methods of procrastination. If I get stuck on something at work, I hit ctrl-tab and think about something else for a few minutes. Then I go back to work and approach the problem from a fresher perspective. This happens a lot.
About 5 years ago it was 1-2 hours a day. Now it is about 15-20 minutes tops.
Mine varies a lot. I used to read this and other running websites like gees 50 hours a week when I was SERIOUSLY procrastinating and just starting working from home. Then I realized I had to stop myself or lose my life. So I just went cold turkey for a long, long time. These days, other websites, esp. facebook, suck up way more time, but I always catch myself when I'm really avoiding my life, again working from home, and find some way to break out of the habit. Lately, I've been making my husband "take" the computer plug to work (he really doesn't take it...leaves it and hides it in case I need to call him and use the computer for work purposes)...Honestly I am an obsessive person to the extreme, which is why I love running I suppose, but if this place is sucking your life away from you, then really find some way to remove the computer. My day is SOOOOOOOOOO much more productive and enjoyable when I force myself just to read/reply in the evenings for a short time, rather than giving myself unlimited access. But, like all good things worth knowing in life, this took years to learn and learning still in progress!!
1 - 2 hours a day is nothing. I'm going on my 6th consecutive hour of watching football today.
Playoffs are awesome!
