It will HOWEVER it will drastically increase your risk for injury. The skipping drills like high knees, a skip and b skip, butt kicks.... those can have a lot of impact on your bones if you do not do them correctly AND on a soft surface
they will help your agility which cant hurt too much. like already said, do them on a soft surface if available. doing them barefoot on grass can strengthen certain muscles and prevent injury if you build into doing it. dont start with a full regimen, build it up.
