Maggie vessey completely naked, but not revealing to much. Still pretty sexy.

What are they adding?
This is sad, and it is pandering. This is also sexist. Before you start swearing at me about being gay or being a prude, ask yourself: why didn't they launch this ad campaign for the Velocity 773 Collection with a man in the same pose?
The same reason nobody buys Playgirl magazine. People only want to see a naked girl. If a naked girl all painted up like Goldfinger is an integral part of this shoe or collection, then I say "Bravo" New Balance! Good call! If not, then this is garbage. They might as well have had her laying on a bed in a centerfold-pose.
If I was her, when asked to do this, I would have confirmed how much they were willing to pay to have me take my clothes off and then say, "Sure, I'll pose for your ad. But I will be CLOTHED, and paid the same amount." If they said NO, then clearly she is just a running celebrity being paid to show her T and A to a bunch of running nerds who eat it up because they never get to see a naked girl.
"ad"
Or she's an attention whore like Suzy Hamilton and so many others and couldn't wait to do it.

Maggie an attention whore? rofl, you're one funny dude.
I LOVE IT!
pretty girls who are athletic...wow! wo wo wo
She's a grenade, homes.
The ad makes it sounds like the shoe is supposed to be super-light, kind of next-best-thing-to-flats, yet durable. As far as I can find out the weight for the men's shoe is 13.1 oz. WTF?
So there is an advertisement of an attractive woman in body paint, and all you can comment on is the weight of the shoes?
Body paint things like this leave me cold. She's way sexier in her workout clothes.

I agree that you were spot on until the last sentence.
You really think this ad is directed solely at "a bunch of running nerds", or even "a bunch of running nerds [who] never get to see a naked girl"? Disregarding your insult to yourself and the other posters here, "running nerds" are a very small audience compared to the general population, and are definitely not the sole audience this advertisement is directed at.
