two women as parents: father doesn't fit. This kind of thing happens also when the mother or father has died and grandparents are taking care of the children, and there is also no appropriate box for tens of millions of people to check when they are partners, whether straight or gay. single is obviously wrong, but married is wrong as well. So, fix the designations and you get no problems.

There is a father and a mother. Nature can't be replaced by crazy PC thinking.
