Vince Young's career record as a NFL starter is 30-17. Jeff Fisher's career record as a NFL coach is 142-120. 5-6 in the playoffs. Out of 16 seasons, Fisher has only had 6 winning seasons. Someone please tell me WHY IS THIS MAN CONSIDERED A GOOD COACH??? All the sports analysts say if he were to be fired from Tenn, he would get another head coaching position right away. Tell me why.
Vince Young is being let go because he has proven he cannot study the position of QB. That makes a huge liability. It's impossible to design intelligent, decision making, plays for Young. If a team has a limited play list then the other team has an easier time figuring out how to beat you.
Young had a great opportunity to be a very good pro QB. His lack of interest in studying the game is what has left him to look for another job. He may or may not get another chance.

Neither is good enough at what they do to win a superbowl. Vince Young won't ever win one, and if Jeff Fisher does, it is because he got very very lucky. The Titans are ALWAYS the good-not-great team in the AFC. Fisher is just good enough to not give the front office a reason to fire him.
didn't young have a 98 qb rating (and that doesn't count running additions) this year? that's pretty good. why dump him now?
young is very stupid. he scored like a 2 on the wonderlic remember? He can't study defenses. With that sad, he has done a lot on just talent alone.

What stands out to me is FISHER HAS ONLY HAD 6 WINNING SEASONS OUT OF 16. Which means 10 out the 16 seasons he has had LOSING records. Thats terrible. I would also like to know why he is considered a good coach.

Those old money white racist NFL owners didnt even give a black man the opportunity to coach in the NFL until 1989 with Art Shell. Thats right 1989, not 1969. I say that because most whitefolks think racism ended in the 60s.
Technically, Fritz Pollard was the first black NFL coach back in the 20s.

Nope, you are forgetting there are more than two options. Jeff Fisher has had five 8-8 seasons. That means he has had 6 winning seasons, five break even seasons, 5 losing seasons.
They both need to go. Young is stupid. He's proven that repeatedly. Fisher is mediocre as his record proves. Of course the entire history of this franchise is mediocre so he's done a great job of living up to the Oilers past. Fisher sucks.
