From my personal experiance I found that a good chiropractic doctor was the best thing I ever did to fix 90 percent of all my running related injuries.
Most Chiropractic doctors are not good ones they pop a few things and that is it. A good chiro doc will double as a deep tissue message person all in one.
This. There's a guy about 90 minutes away from where I grew up I would go to in high school. He helped me with several injuries in ways nobody else could. Unfortunately he's much further away now that I'm in college, and though I've tried a few PTs and Chiros around my current area, none are all that great.
A problem with chiropractors is there are a lot of bad ones, and there are a lot of dumb people who think they need an adjustment for every little damned thing that happens to them. I shadowed a chiropractor in high school and 300lb slobs would come in there and think he could cure all their health troubles. Do you really think a businessman is going to turn away such people, or are they going to let them believe what they already do?
It's difficult, but if you can find a good one, probably one who does ART, your money will be well spent most of the time.
