I've used the search tool for this but didn't find the stuff I was looking for. With Coach McDonnell being an Outstanding coach, what type of workouts did he run with 5k runners? He said that if his runners are going out for a 10 miler it's being run at Tempo pace.
So does that mean most the the Arkansas Guys were running all there mileage in under 6 minute pace?
Was he a high mileage coach or were his athletes floating around the 70-85 mile range?
