How much slower/longer is a 400m all in lane 2 on indoor track assuming you start at 200m stagger? obviously your first 200m split in lane 2 will be accurate but the next lap you have to cut into lane1 but you cannot. so how much slower/longer?

i though it was more like 0.5-1sec or tad more?
A tad more
Try 1 hour
How much long = the distance from the finish line to the stagger.
How much slower = the time it takes you to run that far.
Duh?

so if i ran a 400m in 70seconds on a 200m indoor track, all in lane 2 but starting from 200m stagger, what distance did I cover? 405m?
bumpssss
Using the standard that each lane is 1.22 meters wide, lane 2 will be 407.67 meters if starting at the 200m stagger. Divide your time by this then multiply by 400 (70s/407.67)*400 = 68.7 seconds. Or you could just solve your problem by starting next to the lane 3 stagger, but in lane 2. This will be 400m for 2 laps.
Just pace off the distance between 200m start in lane 2 and the start/finish line in lane 1. That's the extra distance you covered per lap.
