Whenever I start running again after a period of time off (1 -2 weeks depending), the first few runs back, my legs get extremely itchy... Scratching them only makes it worse, but generally after a few runs it goes away.
Obviously, I know it has to do with circulation and your body working again, but I don't understand why more runners don't get this itchiness when they start up.
Any thoughts? Not that big a deal because it only lasts a few days, but those runs are very annoying.
