I have been running at a high level (for me) since high school, through college, and now into my mid 30s.
A lot of the training advice out there is for the younger post-collegiate runner looking to get to his peak. The emphasis is on building and improving, and in a certain sense this emphasis takes for granted a body that is getting stronger naturally.
I was wondering if there are any posters on here who have thought carefully through the problem of training the mid-to-late 30's runner, who is still in his prime years but lacks variable of the increasing strength of the runner in his late 20's.
Any general advice that can be given? Any resources out there for runners like me?
