Finally, the plot unveiled...
Wow...Lol....This might actually prove Wanjiru's innocence.
You have to read the previous accusations on him to see that this basically proves it was a set up. But honestly, that right there shows it's a set up....

how exactly? it makes him look guilty.

Because Kenyan Police is as corrupt as they come, this is not America, it's clear from the start that she payed the police to set up the whole frame so she could have the $$$$ and the children...
I'm not defending this guy for sure, but from what I know about Kenya, that is definately a scam.
On the other hand, if he did actually threaten her with an AK-47, wanting a divorce isn't exactly a bolt out of the blue.
Agreed completely
i like getting the different perspective from an african news outlet.
"If it goes through, Wanjiru could become the latest sports personality after Tiger Woods to go through a messy divorce."
dude is compared to tiger over there.
Comparing him to Tiger is clearly a joke..I hope ha ha...
i am guessing that since this is from africa, wanjiru is on par with tiger woods in popularity.
see what i did there?

or more likely, he payed off the court and the police to drop the charges...
for me the whole story looks like this:
Wanjiru did threaten her with a gun while drunk. She initially presses charges plus gets police involved, they (wife and Wanjiru) then agree to drop charges in exchange of $$ and playing the "we reconciled card" to the public, only to safe his *ss and future career; and now she wants to get away from him so she files a divorce. smart move
Possibly
There is really no telling what actually happened. Could it be that she trumped up a false story of a threat for leverage? Absolutely. No need to believe that happened because the Kenyan police are corrupt, the same things happens in the U.S. all the time. Could it be that he got out of charges because he is rich and perhaps politically connected? That happens all the time in the U. S. too. Maybe only the two (or 4 or whatever) people involved really know what happened.
Dude needs to see a dentist.

Yup. People shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet, and I completely agree with your post. However, in my honest opinion, I believe Wanjiru is innocent in this case and possibly being framed.
Where does it say they dropped the charges? The article says he was released on bail, and that he is due back in court for trial. Unless I missed something somewhere...
There was a middle post where it said they reconciled before the wife decided to show her true colors(or him, for that matter).

When I first read the accusation I thought it had a ring of truth about it and immediately thought back to previously reports that Wanjiru did a fair amount of drinking. I have no idea if that is what happened or not.
