How many old people hang out on this board?
How many old people hang out on this board?

There must be more, yes?

I think there were 38 at last count.
I think the rest of the guys my age might be taking a nap at the moment. We do that from time to time. Now get back to work and contribute to my social security.
I am working!

Oooops, down to 37 now.
It's a b*tch getting old - just blink and another is gone.
53
Use it or lose it. I have lost it, but hope to get it back.
According to a website demographic service that I found, about 15% of LRC visitors are over 50. Of course some of that could be a young kid who is on their parents' internet connection.
Add one... born early 1960's.

Uh, oh. Now they are coming for me when they round up the old folks.
I'm old, at 51.
This "old" person says: the quest to get in better shape, such as to improve your 5K time this year over what it was last year, is a vital part of this wonderful sport.
Records and championships motivate all of us for a while, but it is foolish to quit the sport when those become unrealistic for you.
There is great satisfaction and personal mastery available to anyone, just from making this year better than last year. It's not so important how fast you are, as it is to be working at getting better. That's the runner's high.
Well said!
Yes, well said TKAMD!
As for me, my screen name says it all.
Why?
Is it time to kick Ed Whitlock and Orville Atkins off the board?
Yeah, more than a few. I am one. Best days back in the 70's and 80's.
I am with Nolan Shaheed. Just try to beat what you did the year before. When you can't do that then you have a new baseline. Then try to beat that.
You young f***s don't know how to troll. Back in my day, when we started a thread, it'd draw so much attention the Internet would get discombobulated and go down for a day.
