Hello i asked for advice last year about training for a marathon Van Aaken style. I was looking for a sub 3:45 time got some great advice esp from Vladimir hopefully he is still about here as i really enjoyed it even managed 20 miles in training twice something i had never done before
Sadly the marathon didn't happen family reasons had a great 3 month up to March 447 miles for Jan - March which may not seem a lot to some but decent mileage to me
But due to circumstances the following 9 months i jusy couldn't get running again 519 miles for the remaining 9 months
966 miles for the whole year which is well down on previous years
Hoping to get back marathon fit for April to try again hae started just going out run walking and did 43 miles last week
Any more advice welcome and anyone else running this way hope they can join in
