I am considering working toward a Certified Management Accountant certification and am wondering if anyone on the board has any insight being a CMA, being on the exams, career applicability, CMA vs CPA liscense, etc. I know this is letsrun, but I've been suprised at what knowledge and advice posters can offer here.

get your cpa too.

would MUCH rather be a cpa.

going into public accounting first gives you a much more global perspective that you can then tighten up in industry and get your CMA if it gets your rocks off.
