Jamaican Bolt Plans to Retire in 2016

Guantanamo (Solvision).- Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt plans to end his career in 2016, he said in an interview published this weekend by the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag.
The Olympic champion and world record holder in the 100 and 200 meters told the press he has to use his time well as he would like to finish his career in 2016. He says at a certain point, he finds tedious to do the same thing and win.
Bolt, 24, reiterated that before leaving active sports he wants to try the long jump, but the priority now is to defend his titles at the next World Championship in South Korea.
Daegu-2011 is an important step for him; if he loses will have more pressure at the 2012 Olympics, and if he wins he would feel more trusting, he said.
The Caribbean sprinter said he has overcome the back problems that kept him away from competition in 2010.
"I have been trying for a while now. I went to see the physician of the German football team Muller-Wohlfahrt in Munich and he confirmed that everything is well, I have no problems," he said.
Regarding his weaknesses, he said he needs a better start, and could set new world records.

While retiring at the age of 30 seems respectable for a sprinter, who thinks that it won't be 2016 when he retires? I wonder if it will happen before 2016, particularly if he thinks that it is "tedious to do the same thing and win".
