I'm going to Denver for several days and staying downtown at the Brown Palace. Any suggestions for downtown early-morning running routes, especially any that are suitable for a smallish female? I searched the boards and found this thread below; any additional advice much appreciated.
Brown Palace? Sounds like a sex shop.
I love running in Denver when there. I would suggest asking the concierge, most are pretty savvy about running.
Brown Palace is on Broadway. Just follow Broadway to Colfax and Colfax to Speer. That's about a half mile. There is a ramp to the bike path at the intersection of Colfax and Speer. It sucks and you may see homeless people sleeping along it, but it's safe and full of runners most hours of the day.
if I remember right, there were tons of downtown paths to run on, complete with signage telling distances.... and yes, lots of runners on those paths... happy running

I can help here; my turn to give back.All off-street running is via the two creeks that run through downtown Denver, and actually meet at the southwest corner of downtown. Closest to you would probably be Cherry Creek, can go east or west on that. Going west on Cherry Creek would take you to Drawing-A-Blank River. You could head north or south on that.OP, I am mystified why your dress size would have any bearing on what running routes you would take?????
