Keep in mind I'm on a college student's budget, so spending a $150 on a theater ticket is out of the question.
Museums?
Shows?
Parks?
Cool places to see?
Thanks.

The Natural History Museum east of downtown is world class if you're interested in that kind of thing.
Downtown, the State Capitol is cool and the Mint is also, but I hear they have a bunch of limitations on Mint tours these days so check it out before you show up. There's also a decent art museum and good Colorado history museum on the south side of downtown.
If you are here before next Monday, the King Tut exhibit at the Museum of Art is very good.
Thumb a ride to Boulder, and run Mags.
My favorite park is Washington Park. It's a nice place to run, but mostly paved. For someplace close that gives you a little flavor of the mountains, go out to Red Rock Park, but make sure there isn't a concert going on.
If you're going with a big group, going with little kids, or are a big South Park fan, Casa Bonita is fun and cheap, but don't go for the food.

I would second the Casa Bonita trip. It's worth the price of admission. Skip the main course but you can still drink and eat chips and sopapillas.
Capital building has free tours, there's also the Mint. Wash Park is nice, but isn't the greatest right now with all the snow.
I'd try to do the King Tut, maybe the capital and Mint, then walk 16th and head out to riverfront park and the REI. If you've got a car or time to kill (RTD bus ride), roll up to Boulder and check it out, or even all the way up to Nederland to get a taste of the rockies.
Second vote for Red Rocks Park, just a 20 minute drive from downtown. Bring your camera AND running shoes, great trails to run and good views. 16th st mall downtown is a great hang out as well.
Please don't go to Casa Bonita...we'll just leave it at that.
Some cool information and memorabelia to see at the Red Rocks visitor center as well. Good call!
Go ski! Just a few miles east of the Eisenhower tunnel at Loveland you can get a day pass including all gear (coat, bibs, gloves, hats, ski's) for $100.
Tickets to King Tut don't include admission to the other areas of the art museum, right? $30 for 30 minutes of viewing might be a little much for my budget, though I would really like to see the exhibit.
Also, Sunday is a free day at the Science and Nature Museum. I'm guessing those days are generally packed. Am I right? Any additional info would be appreciated.
Thanks for the all the suggestions.
Swiped from another thread - Go to the airport to see the giant Demon Horse (with giant demon genitals and glowing red eyes) that killed his creator and visit the aliens under the airport. There's also a giant glowing red dildo sculpture you might want to visit.

Since the Apocalypse will begin in Denver, you might want to live somewhere else.
