This crappy Northeast weather last week pushed me off the roads onto a treadmill to get my daily mileage.
Last year was mild, I ran outside all year long, but some too close calls on the road due to unshoveled sidewalks, and snow protruding over the shoulder of the road had me join a local club so I could do some decent length runs at 5am.
So I've been shocked to get a couple blisters in different spots wearing the identical shoes/socks I've worn for the last 6 months (and worn outside), doing same pace/same length runs.
Does that mean my stride is different enough to cause the blisters, or perhaps the lack of airflow (I used these flats during the summer and had no problems)?
Anyone ever encounter this?
