Why don't we put a show on TV called Ugly Fat Honest Politicians and run that on Disney or CSpan?
They would do that if they could find any that fit the third criterion.

Really, how does a channel called ABC Family, with the emphasis on family, have a show about slutty rich bitches, named Pretty Little Liars. Why don't we put a show on TV called Ugly Fat Honest Politicians and run that on Disney or CSpan?
In all honesty, ABC Family was required to keep the named due to some kind of buyout clause, but have been trying to weasel their way out of it for quite some time. Nothing about ABC Family is family oriented.
Used to work for them... wrote:

Wow, he is right...
ABC bought the channel from Pat Robertson and CBN under the stipulation that it always have the word "Family" in the title and broadcast 700 Club at least twice a day.
They are trying to rebrand with the phrase "A New Kind OF Family" since their target audience is Young Adults.

To fit with the "A New Kind of Family" slogan, they should get a huge line up of shows about gay families. Just to piss off Pat Robertson. That would be great. They should bookend every 700 Club broadcast with shows about Gay/Lesbian families. Those are relatively new kinds of families. It fits the slogan perfectly.
Hahaha... sorry that I didn't turn off italics. The italics outbreak infected the end of my post and contaminated yours as well.
BTW, good idea. I think they actually have shows with major gay characters. I know Greek had one.
