who did I missed? Going to be a crazy spring if all are healthy! Unfortunately cant send them all to the WC! Would love to see them all compete in same race, especially the 5000! Boy that would be awesome.......

that is what i was thinking the USA could have 4-5 girls all break the 5k american record this year, with the AR being lowered by 8-10 seconds by seasons end.
also lauren fleshman could be in the mix.

I doubt she'll be up with those girls, but i would not be shocked to see Hasay make a crack at 15. She's improved a lot this year and has been settling in nicely after going through growing pains (literally) last year.
Also, Sara Bei. I'm feeling a breakthrough year for her.
Fleshman has broken 15:00 before.
i assumed the OP wrote laura as a typo and actually meant lauren fleshman...if not she certainly deserves to be on the list, and am drawing a blank on who the "other" laura would be?
Also (though I know you're probably a troll and I shouldn't bother) I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves predicting a sub 15:00 minute clocking out of Hasay...if she was anywhere close to 15:00 shape she would have BLOWN AWAY the rest of the field in NCAA cross
what would be awesome would be to see all these names on the start list for USA/World XC...and their counterparts in the men's race

1)How many people did Hasay lose to in XC in HS that she then blew away at 2miles on the track?
2)Also why would she need to be in 15 shape now, to run 15 this coming summer?
3) Did she not have a longer summer racing than the other girls she lost to by a 1 and 1.5 months?
4)Infeld and Reid both had big break through seasons last year, and you don't know how fit they are now.
I'm not suggesting she can go sub 15, i'm just her saying losing to two girls, of whom you don't know their current fitness, and considering Hasay who has struggled many times in fall XC because of her late start to summer training compared to others, is not a good argument for why she can't challenge 15 this coming summer.

Looks like Mrr82 was right on. Reid just went 8:56 winning early on. As he says Hasay might not be in sub 15 shape, but saying she can't run 15 because she lost to so and so in xc is stupid. They are way better than their previous prs said they were. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that Reid could be right around 15 give or take this summer if she stays healthy. 8:56 indoors alone puts her in elite category in the NCAA all-time marks.
You only managed to miss a 3:59 gal.
