Very few people love Brett. Many of us admire him for how tough he was, but my love for an athlete has more to do with his character than his level of success. Therefore, not even a little bit of love for Brett.
Don't be silly - of course you love him. It doesn't make you gay.
The NFL is fake with dopers like Favre. The NFL is not sports.
Why would I love him? For all the INTs he threw? For all the games he almost single handedly lost in his quest for a good highlight film? For showboating how much pain he was in while other players played in excruciating pain which the media never reported on? In the end when it all comes out in the wash he was just a good QB. Nothing more, nothing less. We might as well thank Brian Sipe.

He was the best QB of all time. Why not love that?
That thread should have been started 3 years ago, when he should have quit.
We all know that 'Favre' is routinely mispronounced as "Farv." I have always been curious as to whether he mispronounces his own name. Could one of you Farve-fans answer that question for me please?
How about, he wasn't the best QB of all time.

Don't be silly.
There is no thread thanking Favre for his career on this forum because Favre is unlikely to read this forum and see the thank you. Why would you thank a person if they will never receive the message?
MLB and NFL support PEDs. None of their players are real athletes. They are phonies. Favre and every player.
He most certainly has not the best QB of all-time.
There was a thread.
There was one in 2007
There was one in 2008
There was one in 2009
There was one in 2010
Now there is one in 2011
Brett Favre ran off the field today with that look on his face that there is no way he is retiring this year. He will be back, sprts fans.
Why no thread thanking favre on his career? This is a running forum...not football. figure it out.
this thread is not necessary because ESPN will jack him off and give him enough verbal felatio to make the rest of the world sick.
Is Vegas accepting bets on whether he is really retiring? This is the first offseason where I would bet that he is retiring and will not play a single snap next year.
Thanks for the great career, Brett Favre.
This year he had his greatest single game ever, throwing for 446 yards against the Cardinals.
I think that's better than Coghlan's 3:58 mile at the same age and Coghlan was nowhere near his lifetime PR.
MLB, NFL - OK, we have another whiny little girly bitch piping up with his/her .00002 cents worh. Ho one cares what you think - no surprise there.
Grow up. Multi-millions of Americans watch these sports. Too bad you can't play.
