I don't know who the bozo who does these videos thinks he is, but this is ridiculous.
So wrong on so many levels.
Odd. This seems to be a recent video but 6 minutes up there is a male runner wearing short-shorts. That is not Ritz, for which he should be eternally grateful. The "doctor?" team starts stretching the dude out. What's up with that?
Got to give them some credit, I didn't realize it was just an advertisement for "microfiber reduction" until 3/4 of the way through.
Dathan wasn't the fat guy in brogans, was he? That would explain the embarassingly slow 2:12.
Thanks for sharing that, malmo. "Junk science" at its finest.

Short-shorts? Those aren't very shot for a distance runner. They are just running shorts. And obiously it's not Ritz.
lol, this guy is full of shit... a single frame is representative of Ritz's stride for thew hole marathon?
Send this to Ritz at once!!!!!!!!!

Well, aren't the dumb. Your reading comprehension is very weak.
The comment was in regards to a "recent" video, and a guy being stretched out who seems to be from the 70s; shorts, mustache, etc. The short-shorts part of the vid is quite old.
"Fee for the Professional Training Program is $240,000 per license. The fee is due at the time the training program is scheduled and is non-refundable. While travel and lodging are not included, Somax will help applicants find local accommodations."
Is malmo being facetious or serious here?
he sounded very articulate and smart, how could anyone be so wrong after so much research(homework)?

I think you need to go to 8:15 in the video.
..or you can see the condensed version of the video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k007kOuL2e0There are two ways to increase speed: stride length and stride frequency. Since science has already established that DR is taking too long strides, he needs to increase his stride frequency from 1000 to 2250 per mile. Viola, 1:59.
Oh okay haha
I'll admit I didn't actually watch the video..
at 7:04 into the video what did he do to increase his range of flexibility?
He must have paid the $240,00 fee for the Professional Training Program.
His whole analysis of "stride angle" is contingent on both feet touching the ground at the same time. This is so horribly stupid. It pains me to think of the other ways I could have spent my life instead of watching this video. I could have begun learning a new language. Someone must be punished for this.
