hey,
so ive been running a good 6 days a week minimum for a quite a bit now, and its definitely working , but im just a little confused about some things
it is of my understanding that when you lift weights or work out any other type of muscle , you shouldnt do it everyday bc your muscles need time to rest ect.
so i thought ok thats true with running also, which is why we dont go for hard runs everyday and do alot of somewhat easy base pace runs. and that the runs just improve our aerobic breathing, and dont affect our muscles. so really we only work out our muscles several times a week.
However every run, regardless of how easy it is, still uses your muscles, and tires them out, which is why even doing alot of slow miles will make you sore and tired.
so can someone please explain me what i am missing, why is running the exception to the rule of working out the same muscles every day?
