I have had achilles and calf pain for the better part of 12 weeks now. I have been completely resting for about 8 weeks now. Eccentric raises did nothing. Before this I was running intermittently in the Brooks Ravenna. I don't know if the profile of the shoe was too low or what. I have switched the Saucony Gide.
Anyways. After this amount of time and no improvement, should I just say screw it and go run?
Pain is in the outside of the achilles and it makes a popping sensation when I flex the tendon.
