Lately I've had some pain in my right leg, and I have no idea what it is. It's only in that one leg, and it only hurts if I press on it and now sometimes if I turn it a certain way- NOT when I run or walk on it at all. Of course that's a good thing, but I'd still like to know what it is just in case it might get worse and interfere with running. It's in the upper shin/calf area, on the side of my leg (the outside, where there is more muscle, not the inside where it's bone). The pain is hard to describe- it almost feels kind of like a bruise does, but when I feel it with my hand it feels like the pain is associated with a specific muscle. Also, sometimes it's a kind of shooting pain that I can feel a little bit all the way down in my toes. Overall, it's a really weird sort of discomfort, so much so that I can't even tell if it's related to muscle, bone, or nerve. Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this or knows what it might be.
