Hey guys, I'm a 9:31 3200 and 4:26 1600 runner. I currently do 50-55 mpw, all singles and 6 days per week. I want to do more, and will regardless of my dad's wishes, but he thinks that I will over train or some crap. It doesn't help the my coach has us in the 30-40 mpw range and says that I run too much.
Anyways, does anyone have any articles that say that doubles are good, and/or that a decent amount(like 70-80)of miles isn't dangerous? Maybe I can use those to convince him otherwise.
