Anyone know of a couple of good sites for some nice groomed trails, and maybe some hills?
Too much concrete in Dallas!

Try
for a list of mountain bike trails in Dallas. I believe that all allow running on the trails.
Some that I go to regularly are Grapevine Lake Northshore Trails, although they have started charging for entrance to the park. There is a free entrance at the opposite end from the dam. I can't remember the name of the park, but you can look it up on Google maps I think.
Also in Garland, the Rowlett Creek Trails are great, but flat for the most part. It's free and has TONS of loops for any distance of run.
Norbuck Park in Dallas has good hills to run on, but you will have to be creative on loops to get a good distance run in as one loop around the park is probably about 2-2.5 miles.
There are more, but those are the three that I regularly go to.
Greenbelt Corridor Park off of 380 near Denton is sweet, 10 miles one way nice wide trail all dirt/gravel. Also Erwin park in Mckinny is sweet, 8 mile loop single track. There is Irving trails near the UofD, but last time I was there only a 2.5 mile section was clear. I also HIGHLY suggest the Trinity River Corridor. Super long dirt road near oak cliff/west of downtown, it runs underneath I30 and I35. Although it is in a semi sketch area it is very nice and no one is ever out there, I run on it all the time. You can get on the upper level levy for gravel if the dirt road is wet. You should also visit nttr.org for more trail ideas. If you want hills go down to south Dallas near Ducanville I20/408 area plenty of neighboorhoods with HILLS, all concrete though except for a nice Boy Scout camp that has hilly gravel roads. I can also give you more options if you tell me where your loacted in Dallas.
Cool thanks for the advice! I live in Far North Dallas, off the Keller Springs exit on the Toll Road, and work at Parkland most of the time. If anyone ever wants to hook up for a run let me know!
