0-5 today, most of them not close at all. Michigan really sucks and it doesn't look like the addition of Nebraska will really help matters.

This is an aberration, but quite a shock. I think the bowl record of the Big Ten has been pretty good for the past few years.
The Big 10 is consistently the 5th best football conference in the country,
Each Big 10 team that lost today was ranked lower than their opponent. Except Michigan State which was overrated.
The reason Big 10 teams were in those game is because of the huge fan base. Bowls want Big 10 teams for the huge draw & TV audiences that are brought in. No other conference has this much marketability so they don't have to worry about getting into situations similar to the Big 10.

SEC definitely has as much marketability, maybe more, and the PAC 10 is up there with the Big 10, too.
The only way to improve the B10 is to have a level playing field. NCAA brackets with 11 conference champions plus 1 independent would spur kids evenly to mid-west, south, east schools. The bowls are not sports and should be left out of the brackets. The bowl games can still be played for old times sake around New Year's. A level playing field fed by a great prep system is what made the PAC10 the toughest conference for DI-A in the nation these past 50 years. The same prep system has fed and propelled TCU, Boise State, BYU, and Hawaii to near parity with the PAC-10 Superconference.
Call me when they start playing the bowl games in cold snowy midwest winters and we will see how the Big Ten teams do.
Cheat Rogriquez tried to bring a track meet team to the Big Ten and you see how he is doing the last 5 weeks of every season.
Wisco and the Buckeyes were the only two top level teams in the league this year with Wisco having a much better line than the Buckeyes did. They played #3 TCU fairly even though I would have liked them to try to pound in that 2 point conversion on the ground.
Regardless of that idiotic bribing of the buckeye players to not go to the NFL, they may have a few players playing extra hard for the NFL scouts on Tuesday.
MWC Owns Pac10!
Why would they play bowl games in the snow? They don't play bowl games in 100 degree heat now. The Big 10 was whipped today, there's no excuse.
Sure Mississippi State had one less loss than Michigan, but MSU didn't score 50 on anyone this year. Florida was awful in the SEC. Michigan State was embarrassed. Wisconsin was beat by a mid major. There is no conclusion other than that the Big 10 sucks. Hard.
let's not forget that unranked Iowa beat a ranked Mizzou team even though Iowa had some players suspended for the game.
that being said, the Big 10 is a very marketable conference which i believe contributed to the number of new years games they had. I mean let's face it, college football is all about the profits in the end. why do you thing the Pac 10 wanted to form a huge super conference? its all about the $$$

They aren't the Big Slow for no reason. They usually don't play anybody out of conference that isn't just as slow as they are. And when they go to a bowl game where they HAVE to play a team from the SEC or Pac 10, the speed difference is pretty obvious.
Did Wisconsin fans really boo TCU when they were give the trophy?
I didn't see the game, but heard they did. If so this doesn't surprise me coming from them. I attended the Auburn vs Wisconsin bowl game awhile back where Auburn won. Wisconsin has the most classless & redneck fans we ever witnessed.
Place wild pigs in the stands & they'll behave more civilized.
Go look at Wisconsin's schedule/results for this year, and see some of the scores run up on outmanned opponents. That should tell you something about their sportsmanship.
I was actually hoping that Wisconsin would play Boise State because of the score runup effect.
