I am posting a different sort of thread than usual. Usually I only ask Mr. Canova for advice, but my wife and I are looking for input on some of the best places in the world to raise a healthy family.
Obviously I am a runner as I post on letsrun, so as we begin planning to start our family we don't want to live in an obese-ridden region.
We want to be a part of an active community where kids can grow up in an environment that we used to have here. Safety and political stability as well as career opportunity are also very important, but we are never going to be wealthy, just looking to put our family in a good position to grow and lead a strong and healthy life.
Thanks for any input. I know that we could just google 'best places to live' but we're looking for actual input from people have who experienced this.
