Tom Chorney?
I assume he just runs for fun nowadays?
from the looks of this it looks like top 4 ran together, then top 3 ran a little at the end and Furst leaned at the tape in a run togther finish? Hard to see him outkicking a Curtis. was anyone there?
It's good to see that all of the money that NYRR sends to runners far away from NYC finally is paying dividends with a competitive fun run.

Furst, Jankowski and Curtis all had a chance to win in the final sprint. Furst was clearly in front in the final 10 meters, but it looked like Bobby slowed just before the tape and Janko just got by him (both were credited wit the same time). Quigley was right there the entire race to finish four seconds back.
Colin Leak, who finished 5th in 18:18, would have won the race nine out of the last ten years with that time. The field was really strong this year.

"Ran together? Can't see Curtis getting outkicked?"
It's a professional race not a professional fun run...His name is FURST no need to lean for the win.
Any chance there's video of the race anywhere? Other than that dude from CNN clicking 11 minute miles with his 12 year old daughter, though I understand why American needs to see that...
Great run, Lesley Higgins!!
I was actually at the turn at West 72nd Street, which I suppose is about 400 meters from the finish. One of them...I honestly can't say which one ...was clearly in the lead at that point, certainly by more than a second.
