I mean I am really rooting for Mutai but I think he is cursed forever to be in 2nd place for every race. He was 2nd place at the Marathon World Championships in Berlin, he was 2nd place at London this year, he was 2nd place at the New York City Marathon this year, and in the Brazil São Silvestre on New Years Day he was once again 2nd.
When can Mutai's incredibly unlucky 2nd streak be broken and is it possible for him to finally actually win a race? Because this is just getting pathetic...
