My DVR taped a show called the best of 2010 track and field.
1) There were no field events.
2) The longest race they showed was 400 meters.
Are most viewers really only interested in watching races 400 meters or less?

I don't get that. From a pure spectator perspective the 800 is easily the most exciting event on the track.
nahh I was always bothered by the fact that in the 800, their kicks aren't actually kicks, they're just battles of who slows down the least. Don't get me wrong I love the 800 but I prefer to watch the longer 1500 or my personal favorite, the 5000m
The 800 is track's best event
on the track i prefer to watch the 800/1500. i love watching road races, especially marathons, but the 5000/10000 on the track isnt usually interesting until the last mile
Also if your doing a review of the year how can you not show at least 1 of the 2 800m World Records set this year
