A couple friends of mine were getting back in shape and looking for a competitive team road race. Since we all live in the Midwest, something close (Minneapolis, Chicago, KC, St. Louis, etc.) would be great. I've heard good things about Chicago's Shamrock Shuffle 8k. Is there anywhere else people would recommend?
