    This article says that 1/6th of the population currently living in Britain can expect to live to their 100th birthday. In 40 years, that figure will likely be much higher. How long do you think you will live and have you financially planned for the possibility that you could live for 30-40 years after your retirement?

    I am planning on living to be 100. I am planning on working until extreme old age, so I don't need to worry about planning for retirement, though I will likely have enough savings to live off of for a long time by the time I reach "retirement age."

    I would like to live beyond 100 so long as I'm able-bodied. But since I have ITP, I may not live that long.
