I know alot of people on here bash Jim Ryun, because he was burned out and could have been ten million times better if he was under a safer program, but i want to thank him. He's a pioneer in the sport and was one of the leading figures to the running boom. Even though he missed the gold, he still got a silver in the altitude after a bout with mono. You had an incredible work ethic and you are a great role model and a hero to all. Thanks Jim Ryun for doing the impossible and "go with God"
