Hawaii Governor wants to release more info about Obama's birth

If there were a doctor or nurse who attended said birth they would have come out and made a lot of money, but they can't, because they didn't, because Obama isn't American.

Once againt most Presidents college applications have not been turned over to the public....

Don't you think Republican Congressmen would have looked into this at all levels in the hopes they could find something to get him out of office. They DID look into it and found nothing. Even a REPULICAN governor saw the birth certificate and said he was born in America.

What don't you get...he doesn't have to show you any of his private personal information. It is not required for him to get elected or even to run for president. He does have to prove he is elegible to run for office WHICH HE DID. But none of that information has to be turned over to the public.

WHY DON'T YOU LIST ALL OF YOUR PERSONALLY INFORMATION OVER THE INTERNET AND THEN YOU MIGHT HAVE A CASE.

Obama is being held to a different standard because (1) he is black and (2) there is actually some hubbub (whether accurate or not) about his country of birth. I don't think there was any speculation that Bush wasn't born here. He was so stupid, he had to be an Amerikan.

I seem to remember a portion of people trying to clamor about McCain's ability to be president by being born in Panama, even though it was on a U.S. Military Base. So....white, republican, protestant with a somewhat similar background, and yes...people were questioning it.

Look I doubt he was born in another country, but I do wonder why he won't open it up and end it once and for all, since he has the ability. I won't throw that argument out there though, because it is his right to keep it private. This is, oddly the same argument I have seen used on the other side for the body scanners: "If you have nothing to hide, you shouldnt have a problem with going through it." The problem is, and he knows it, is that if he does show his birth certificate then these wackos will just come up with some other excuse...and in the end if he gives in to the crazies they will then think they have power and scream for more personal information that is none of their business.

Before he can run he has to PROVE his citizenship...he did that to the satisfaction of the government. These officials cannot release their findings other than to say he is eligible because the information is his PRIVATE INFORMATION.

These same kind of wackos came out when Kennedy was elected. REad a little history. No matter what you do or what evidence you present these wackos will still claim something to the contrary.

His major opposition admitted he was an American Citizen that should be enough for any sane thinking person. Only crazy people think otherwise.

The Right to Privacy is a fine argument. The "these people are all wackos and it doesnt matter what you tell them" argument? Not so much.

Are you really asking people to believe the word of an elected official in the United States? HA. Most major elected officials would be happy to lie to further their own political ambition...again, not a great argument. Better than the other one though.

Again, prove it to partisan elected officials. This is the best argument you listed though. No question. One of the reasons I myself am not a birther.

Again, one guy, an elected official in a heavily democratic state. Not the best argument, and calling people wackos and insane for not believing it doesn't exactly help you.

Call them unreasonable for wanting more proof, but insane wackos is a bit much....for most of them. It does apply to a small portion of them though.
