I'm just adding what wasn't said before. Most grammar mistakes catch my eye but I usually don't say anything about it, most likely because I know my grammar isn't perfect.

I don't know if this counts, but I hate writing manuals that suggest that one should not use the passive voice. If the passive voice had no legitimate use, it would not have been invented.

We were looking for a p/t employee. I advertised on Craigslist.

I had several repsonses.

Some were from local community college graduates who used a small i when writing in the first person. And some wanted to "no" what the hours were and how much it "payed"

I was actually considering sending the resumes and writings to the school president.

However, when I called she actually said " let me ax you what the names is..."

I was stunned. I mean really stunned.

I gracefully excused myself with another call.

1. Can I go to the bathroom? Probably the most common Grammar mess up and improper way of saying something.

2. Lol U really think my English iz bad. -Text from my Brother..I'm not joking...I'm seriously not joking...

3. We need to quickly complete this homework assignment.

-Split Infinitive and probably another common one out there(Should be -We need to complete this homework assignment quickly). Not exactly wrong, but it still is not using English all that good.

And loose instead of lose.

Mixing up advice and advise, loose and lose, one and won, right and write,and misspelling ridiculous. I don't have perfect grammar, but these mistakes are rediculous. I would like to advice these people to right better, because they are the ones that will loose out in the end and then nobody has one.

My biggest frustration is with thread titles that are not capitalized. Who does that?

A serial comma is most often unnecessary. If I have the task of editing something, I go to great lengths to remove serial commas. To avoid ambiguity in the rare instances it arises, I'll actually reorder the items in a list rather than add a serial comma.

Many style manuals advise against the use of these commas simply because they are superfluous. Some writers prefer using them to avoid the appearance that the last two items in a list have a greater association than they actually have.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with using them, but I do not like them one bit. There is no hard-and-fast rule on this subject. Therefore, I'll do it my way and you can do it yours.

It bothers me when someone does not capitalize the first letter of a sentence, or in this case a forum thread.

The following sentence construction: "Johnny is one of those runners who SEEMS to move without effort." The correct construction: "Johnny is one of those runners who SEEM to move without effort." Very, very few people get this one right.

I don't know about you, but it really chaps my hide when the first word of a thread title goes uncapitalized.

It really frosts my pumpkin when thread titles are not capitalized. WTF?
